University of Cambridge Darwin Lecture Series – “Beauty”

Every year since 1986, the University of Cambridge Darwin College has presented a public lecture series on various topics, always with an inter-disciplinary focus.

The 2011 Lecture series is on the topic of “Beauty” and includes talks by Biologists, Philosophers, Historians, and more. It’s geared towards a general audience and is a fascinating look at this largely ambiguous topic. You can check out the webseries online at the Lecture Website or subscribe for free via iTunes U.

Jennifer, you really are doing a tremendous job with your blog. Thank you for letting us all know about this lecture series on “Beauty” that is online. Strange, I did not see my picture when I hit on the link you provided.

Ahhh, thanks Michael. I believe that you were the topic of the keynote… Isn’t your photo copyrighted? I bet they just didn’t have the funds to put it up there.

Well, I do have eight whole readers… I’m clearly on the edge of seizing your title – only a few million more to go! And don’t go back to paying, I have it on good authority that the traps you set to catch friends are working just fine!

That was the right response! :) Seriously though, I’m starting to feel the competitive side in me emerge. I worry your blog will become far more popular than mine–people will like you more and then I will have to go back and start paying people to be my friend.
