How Mother’s Day Destroyed Its Inventor

Mother’s Day was created by a woman named Anna Jarvis to honor the passing of her own mother. However, Anna would come to regret the commercialism that overtook what was supposed to be a small, intimate, remembrance and reflection on the women who gave us life and kissed our knees.
